Questionnaires were used to collect data on behavior relating to drug injections, syringe sharing, and sexual behavior. The study was conducted in the four municipalities of the Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur districts, sampling 303 IDUs from 20 randomly selected sites.
