Forms of abuse studied include physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, and girl child neglect. For the survey, 13 states were covered, and data from 17,220 respondents (children 5-18, young adults 18-24, and stakeholders such as government-position holders) was collected. Data collection occurred through focus group discussions and one-on-one interviews.
