Summary 

The fifth Benin Demographic and Health Survey 2017-2018 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series, a nationally representative household survey series. Topics commonly covered in DHS include education, child and maternal health, family planning, nutrition, health behaviors, health care access, health care use, and immunization. For the 2017-2018 Benin DHS, 15,928 women ages 15-49 and 7,595 men ages 15-69 were successfully interviewed from 14,156 households. Anthropometric measurements, and anemia and blood pressure tests were conducted for a subsample of households.
