The report provides case numbers, rates of notification, and incidence rates for all notifiable diseases by province from 2000-2005. Standardized morbidity ratios, confidence intervals, and mortality numbers are also included in the tables. Sections on gastroenteric diseases, meningitis, respiratory illnesses, zoonotic and vector diseases, STDs, unintentional injuries, poisonings, vaccine-preventable diseases, and mortality provide additional information and analysis of the epidemiological situation. In these sections, national immunization coverage for pentavalent, polio, MMR, hepatitis A and B, and BCG vaccines is covered.
