Summary 

The Statistical Yearbook for Burkina Faso of 2006 covers climate, living condititions, health, education, population, agriculture, environment and other topics. The section on health includes vaccines, life expectancy, health care facilities, and health care personnel. Many of the statistics in the report come from surveys and censuses, particularly the sections on demographics and living conditions; some health figures come from the Ministry of Health such as top conditions resulting in hospitalization.  Years for the tabulations vary widely: some figures go back to the 60s, whereas as others are only for 2003 or 2005, depending on the source.  The coverage years noted in the record reflect some of the key health numbers. Most tabulations are totals for the year only.

There are no NHA tables that provide data on health care expenditures according to function.
