Burkina Faso National Health Accounts 2003
General Info
National health accounts (NHA) constitute a systematic monitoring of the resource flows in a country's health care system, helping to inform the evaluation of health care policy.
Following the International Classification for Health Accounts (ICHA) standards, the 2003 NHA report published by the Ministry of Health (Burkina Faso) contains tables for the sources of funds to financing agents (FS x HF) and the resource flow from financing agents to providers (HF x HP). There are no NHA tables that provide data on health care expenditures according to function.
The report can be downloaded in PDF format from the Ministry of Health (Burkina Faso) website.
