The Performance, Monitoring, and Accountability Survey (PMA2020) is a multinational, five-year initiative to monitor key indicators for water, sanitation, and family planning. The project was implemented by local research organizations using female enumerators and smartphone-based software.
The data were collected in the Burkina Faso Round 5 survey through questionnaires for households, women ages 15-49, and service delivery points (SDPs). The major topics covered in the household and women's questionnaire included household characteristics, assets, sanitation, fertility, and contraceptive use. The SDP questionnaires focused on facility type, location, staffing, and size based on the number of beds.
The sample size for this survey was 2,811 households, 3,556 females, and 130 SDPs.

The Sri Lanka Demographic and Health Survey 2016 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series, a nationally representative household survey series. Topics commonly covered in DHS include child and maternal health, family planning, nutrition, health behaviors, health care access, health care use, birth history, and immunization. For the 2016 Sri Lanka DHS, 18,302 women ages 10-49 were successfully interviewed from 27,210 households. Blood tests were conducted for the presence of anemia in consenting women ages 10-49 and children 6-69 months.

The [Peru Demographic and Family Health Survey] Perú Encuesta Demográfica y de Salud Familiar (ENDES) survey series collects information on child and maternal health, child nutrition, immunization, and health behavior. The 1986-2014 ENDES surveys were conducted as part of the Demographic and Health Survey Series. Beginning with the 2015 ENDES survey, the series has been conducted as a national series by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) (Peru). The ENDES survey collected data through household interviews of men and women ages 15 and over, children ages 0-12, and a subsample of women ages 15-49.

The Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey 2017-2018 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series. Topics commonly covered in DHS include child and maternal health, family planning, health care access, education attainment, housing conditions, immunization, and health attitudes, knowledge and practices. The 2017-18 Pakistan DHS is nationally representative. The survey included Azad Jammuand Kashmir, and the former Federally Administrated Tribal Areas. It is representative for the four provinces of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan; the regions of Azad Jammuand Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan; and for the Islamabad Capital Territory, and the Federally Administrated Tribal Areas. For the 2017-2018 Pakistan DHS, 12,364 ever married women ages 16-49 were successfully interviewed from 11,869 households, and 3,145 ever married men ages 15-49 were successfully interviewed from a sub-sample of 4,263 households.

The Nepal Demographic and Health Survey 2016-2017 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series, a nationally representative household survey series. Topics commonly covered in DHS include: child and maternal health, family planning, nutrition, health behaviors, health care access, health care use, and immunization. For the 2016-2017 Nepal DHS, 12,862 women and 4,063 men age 15-49 were successfully interviewed from 11,040 households. In addition to demographic and health questions, anthropometric measurements were taken for men, women and children under 5, blood tests were conducted for the presence of anemia in women and children ages 6-59 months, and blood pressure measurements were taken for men and women.

The Uganda Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) 2016 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey series.
