WHO SEARO Newborn and Birth Defects Database (SEAR-NBBD)

The World Health Organization Regional Office for South-East Asia (WHO-SEARO) Newborn and Birth Defects Database (NBBD) was created to support data management for newborn health, birth defects and stillbirths. Currently about 150 hospitals in eight countries are registered with the surveillance network, with the plan to develop robust systems that migrate to serving individual nations.
