The SEER Cancer Statistics Report is an annual publication from the Surveillance Research Program of the NCI that provides cancer incidence, mortality, survival, prevalence, and lifetime risk statistics. The scope and purpose of the CSR follow a report to the Senate Appropriations Committee (Breslow, 1988), which recommended that a broad profile of cancer be presented regularly to the American public.
