The Sweden Monitor Survey is a continuous survey which monitors alcohol consumption in Sweden by combining sales data with a household survey. For the household survey component, 1,500 Swedes are interviewed by telephone each month. Estimates of tobacco consumption were incorporated into the project in 2003.
