This longitudinal household survey interviewed husbands and wives about sexual behavior, contraception, fertility, and child mortality. Respondents were asked questions about ways to prevent HIV/AIDS and their exposure to health promotion activities. Finally, a village questionnaire asked about distance to the nearest health facilities and other types of services as well as the availability of public transportation to these services.
This series was subsumed by the Malawi Longitudinal Study of Families and Health (MLSFH).
