The Secretary of Energy, Natural Resources, Environment and Mines (MIAMBIENTE) through of the Center for Studies and Control of Contaminants (CESCCO) specifically in the Atmospheric Pollution Unit, since 2012 it performs material measurements airborne particulate (TPS, PM10 and PM2.5), measured through high volume, at two points in the capital city (Barrio El Centro and Colonia Kennedy). The results are presents the Tegucigalpa Air Monitoring Network Report, also called the Report on the Airborne Particle Monitoring Network in the Central District.
