The estimates are based off of various sources including censuses, vital registration, and demographic year books. Population estimates are available for the following years: 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997. Mortality estimates are present for 1982, 1986, 1990-1992, 1995, and 1997. Data are aggregated by sex and 5-year age groups with terminal age group at 75+ for population estimates and 85+ for mortality estimates.
