Summary 

The Vietnam Sanitation, Water Supply, and Child Nutrition Survey 2009 was a study of the nutrition status of children under age 5, and the correlation with sanitation, water supply, and maternal hygiene behaviors. The study was based on a subset of samples from the 2010 General Nutrition Survey, which consisted of 3,356 children from 72 communes in 6 provinces. The study subjects included the children, their mothers or caregivers, health workers of the communes, and the household conditions. Data were collected checklists and interviews using questionnaires.
