Summary 

The 2009 Vietnam de jure census collected data through direct enumeration on the subjects of housing, household demographics, employment for those 15 and older, education, disability, household deaths, and fertility for women 15 and older. The majority of the population was enumerated through the short form questionnaire while 15% of the population answered the long form questionnaire. The total population of Vietnam in 2009 was 85,846,997.
