Summary 

The Nutrition Surveillance conducted in 2012 collected and assessed data regarding maternal and child nutritional status, feeding practices, prevalence and use of iodized salt, Vitamin A deficiency, and health literacy in Vietnam. Data were collected through household interviews and trained staff recorded anthropometric measurements of child participants.

The survey canvassed 99,450 children between the ages of 0-59 months across 1,950 clusters nationwide.
