It is often used to help countries develop priorities, establish programs, and advocate for resources for school health programs, policies, and youth health. The 2012-2013 Vietnam survey included students in grades 8-12 using a two-stage cluster sample design; a total of 3,331 students answered a self-administered questionnaire with a 96% response rate.
