Summary

Gallup Daily is a daily phone survey of 1,000 U.S. adults on the topics of politics, economics, and well-being. In addition, many standard demographics are collected, such as race, education, employment status, and occupation. Gallup will also include additional topical questions on a regular basis, such as election voting intentions and views on current events. Each day, approximately 200 interviewers from Gallup complete computer assisted telephone interviews with a random sample of adults over the age of 18 in all 50 states of the U.S., including the District of Columbia. Surveys are conducted via landline and cell phone, and include Spanish-speaking respondents. Survey respondents are given either the Well-being track or Politics and Economy track questionnaire. The survey is representative of approximately 95% of the population with a 9% response rate for the Well-being track and a 12% response rate for the Politics and Economy track.
