Summary 

The Northern Ireland Crime Survey (NICS) is a continuous interview survey of the experiences and perceptions of crime of adults living in private households throughout Northern Ireland.  Started in 1994, the NICS began operating on a continuous basis in January 2005.

Data from the survey can be found in a report entitled, "Experience of Drug Misuse: Findings from the Northern Ireland Crime Survey 2008-2009."
