The National Bureau of Statistics publishes annual tabulated data on registered births and deaths. Birth data include births by emirate and nationality from 1976 through 2006 and births by emirate, nationality, and sex in 2006. 

All deaths from 1986 through 2006 are listed by emirate, sex, and nationality. Comprehensive tabulations list deaths by sex and age group for the year 2006. Additional tabulations provide deaths by sex and cause of death for 2006.
