The Armed Conflict Database is a joint project between the Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University, and the Center for the Study of Civil War at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO).

The dataset contains information on armed conflict, dating back to 1946, where at least one party is the government of a state. Each conflict is listed in all years where fighting caused at least 25 battle-related deaths.
