Summary

This survey was based on the European Health Interview Survey questionnaire created by Eurostat. The Turkish version includes age-specific questionnaires for three age groups: ages 0-6, ages 7-14, and ages 15 and older. The questionnaires for children ages 0-14, which were filled out by parents, asked about disease, accidents, and health care use in the previous six months. The adult questionnaire asked about the previous six to 12 months. Participants were chosen using two-stage stratified cluster sampling, with a sample size of 7,910 households.
