A total of 10,748 participants were included in the study, excluding 124 pregnant women from the original sample. Participants were asked about their demographic and socioeconomic characteristics, diet, lifestyle, health status, medications, and relevant family and medical history. Anthropometric measurements and blood pressure were also measured. A fasting blood sample and urine spot sample were also collected from consenting participants.
