Summary

Part of MICS2, an international survey initiative to monitor the situation of children and women, covering health, education, child protection and HIV/AIDS; it includes vaccination, contraceptive use and symptoms like diarrhea, cough and fever. The Timor-Leste MICS used a nationally representative sample of 4,000 households.  It included anthropometry for children under 5 and for their caretakers. Most of the standard MICS modules were used, and additional questions were included on housing conditions and assets to allow for the calculation of a wealth index.
