Summary

The National Health Examination Survey 2014 is the fifth survey in the series, with collection development taking place between 2013 and 2015. The survey monitors the health status of working-age and elderly people in Thailand, covering topics such as smoking and alcohol consumption, physical activity, diet, basic disease conditions, and gathers body proportion measurements, blood pressure, and blood sugar measurements. A module on children's health is also included in this 2014 survey, assessing children age 1 and older on topics such as breastfeeding, diet, meal preparation and skipping, secondhand smoke, fighting, use of helmets, and sleep. Parents were also questioned about their children's life skills and social, emotional, psychological, and ethical development.
