Summary

Thailand MICS 2019 was designed to provide estimates for indicators on the situation of children and women at the national level, for urban and rural areas, and for five regional domains: Bangkok, Central, North, Northeast and South. The urban and rural areas by province were identified as the main sampling strata, and the sample was selected in two stages. Within each stratum, a specified number of 2019 Household Basic Information Survey enumeration areas (EAs) were selected systematically with probability proportional to size. Households with and without children under 5 years were identified. A systematic sample of households was selected separately from each group within the sample EA at the second stage. A total of 1,958 sample EAs and 40,660 households were selected at the national level.

Also included is the Report of 17 Selected Provinces, which were analyzed from an equity perspective.
