Summary 

The purpose of this survey was to gather fertility and mortality estimates for examination of possible trends and analysis of differentials between different cultural and socioeconmic groups. The data were collected through interviews. Questionnaires covered the topics of household demographics, mortality, marital history, and fertility history. 65,000 households were included in this survey.
