Summary 

The Tanzania HIV/AIDS and Malaria Indicator Survey 2007-2008 included tests for anemia and malaria (children only) and HIV (adults only). Topics covered included housing conditions, social support for the sick and children, sexual behavior, treatment for malaria, insecticide spraying and attitudes towards AIDS and TB.  Interviews were conducted with men and women age 15-49 from 9,144 households.
