Summary 

The Taichung Community Health Study (TCHS) examined 2,359 residents of Taichung City, Taiwan. All participants were at least 40 years old when the study began in October, 2004. The study consisted of a full physical examination with anthropometrical and biomedical measurements, and as well as questions regarding participants' sociodeomgraphic and history of cardiovascular diseases and medications.
