The self-completed questionnaire collected information on students' health status, health behaviors, physical activity, sexual behavior, and substance use. The use of a standardized questionnaire allows for data analysis at the national level as well as comparison of data across countries.

The total sample size for the survey was 162,306 students. The sample size for Spain was 5,827 students.
