Summary

This post-enumeration survey (PES) was conducted in November and December of 2011 in order to collect high quality data that could be compared to the census data. This process allowed the evaluation of coverage and content errors of the census.

The intial sampling frame was the 103,576 enumeration areas (EAs) created for the 2011 census, but was reduced to 89,305. A total of 600 EAs were selected from the sampling frame to create the sample. For analysis a two-way case by case comparison was done of household and person records in census data and PES data.
