Saint Lucia Population Census 1980 - IPUMS

Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 1980 Saint Lucia de jure census was one of the Commonwealth Caribbean Censuses administered in the CARICOM member states. Data were collected on the subjects of housing, household demographics, employment for those 15 and older, migration, education, and fertility for women 14 and older. The census day was May 12, 1980. A 10% sample of households from the census (11,451 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota.
