Qatar Annual Health Report 2006

This annual report contains data compiled from the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and the National Health Authority. The six chapters of the report include: health and economic indicators, available health resources, utilization of primary healthcare services, inpatient discharges diagnoses for three HMC hospitals, and vital health statistics (infectious diseases reported, immunization coverage, number of deaths). The HMC hospitals providing data are the Hamad General Hospital, Women's Hospital, and Al Khor Hospital. Comprehensive tabulations list inpatients from the HMC hospitals by ICD-9 major category, 5-year age group, nationality, and sex. Additional tables provide information on number of deaths by ICD-10 major category, nationality, and sex.
