Summary 

The objective of the Epidemiological Survey of Mental Health in the Peruvian Jungle is to identify the main mental health problems (depression, anxiety disorders, addictions and other mental health issues) in that area, the social conditions of people who suffer from them, and access to health services. The survey covers the cities of Pucallpa, Iquitos, and San Martin. The survey interviewed 1,226 partnered women; 3,572 adults; 1,187 aged adults; 1,861 adolescents.
