Summary 

This was the sixth ENNIV conducted in Peru to determine the population's quality of life through data collection on subjects of demographics, health, education, employment, income, expenditures, finances, housing, migration, and social programs using community and household questionnaires. Modules on women's health and child anthropometry were included in the household questionnaire. The sample size for 2000 was 3,977 households. Multiple panel portions exist: 1997-2000 with a sample of 1826 households, 1994, 1997, and 2000 with a sample of 603 households, and 1991, 1994, 1996, and 2000 with a sample of 500 households.
