Summary

The National Nutrition Survey conducted in 2011 assessed nutritional levels and health status of mothers and children in Pakistan. Data were collected through a household questionnaire, 24-hour dietary recall, and a physical examination. Hemoglobin levels and anthropometric measurements were also recorded, and urine samples were collected from mothers for iodine deficiency. The survey sampled 30,000 households from 1,500 primary sampling units, with 27,963 households successfully interviewed.
