Summary

The 2019-2020 MICS6 Pakistan - Balochistan survey was designed to provide information for policy initiatives to support children and women's well-being. Its objectives included providing high quality data for assessing the situtation of children, adolescents, women, and households, collect disaggregated data for identification of disparities, to generate data on national and global SDG indicators, and generate behavioral and attitudinal data not available from other data sources.

Six questionnaires were used in the survey: a household questionnaire, a water quality testing questionnaire, separate questionnaires for individual women and individual men 15-49 years, an under-5 questionnaire, and a 5-17 questionnaire. Data was collected using Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI). The total sample size was 21,380 households in 1,092 sample clusters. 23 clusters were not visited due to inaccessibility because of COVID-19.
