Summary 

The 2014 Nigeria National Nutrition and Health Survey (NNHS) implemented the Standardized Monitoring and Assessment of Relief and Transition (SMART) methodology, and covered all 36 states in the country. The survey assessed the nutritional and health status of women ages 15-49 years and children under 5 years, vitamin A supplementation, and deworming coverage. For 2014, additional topics such as access to safe drinking water and sanitation were also examined. 

Data were collected from 20,939 children under 5 and 23,942 women from 25,567 households.
