Netherlands Population and Housing Census 2011

The Dutch Population and Housing Census 2011 was also known as the Dutch Virtual Census 2011. The 2011 population and housing census took place in January of that year. Rather than using a traditional questionnaire, a register-based census was introduced for 2011 which collects data from prior registers and sample surveys. The population on the enumeration date was 16,655,799, including 8,243,482 males and 8,412,317 females.
