The aim of the census was to provide detailed information regarding housing conditions and other socioeconomic indicators of the population. The total population at the time of the census was 10,084, including 5,105 males and 4,979 females, a 9% increase from 2006. The questionnaire was based on the 1992 census form, and included both a household and individual module.
