Moldova KAP Study Baseline Survey 2012

Conducted prior to the launch of a national anti-smoking campaign launched in 2011 by the Ministry of Health and the National Coordinating Council on Tobacco Control, this baseline survey collected data on knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) around smoking in the Moldovan population. The survey utilized a questionnaire from the World Lung Foundation. Data was collected via 1,500 face-to-face interviews with the population ages 16-55. Interviews were conducted in all territories of the country except for Transnistria.
