For the 2012 Malawi MIS, 2,906 women ages of 15-49 were interviewed from 3,500 households. There were no male respondents. Blood tests for anemia and malaria were done for children ages 6-59 months using a finger prick blood sample. A total of three questionnaires were used, one for households, one for women, and one for bio-markers.
