Summary 

The Madagascar Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2018 is part of round 6 of the MICS series. The survey covers nutrition, education, water and sanitation, marriage and sexual activity, fertility and mortality, contraception, HIV/AIDS, child protection, and use of mass media and information technology.

Out of a sample size of 20,117 households, interviews were successfully completed for 17,870 households, 17,161 women ages 15-49, 7,623 men ages 15-49, 12,857 children ages 5-17, and 12,857 children under the age of five.
