Summary 

The Lebanon Family Health Survey 2004 was conducted by the Ministry of Social Affairs with the collaboration of the Central Administration of Statistics and the Pan Arab Project for Family Health (PAPFAM). The survey was completed by 5,532 households, 3,365 ever married women ages 15 to 49, and 1,774 adults older than age 65.

The survey used four questionnaires covering the following topics: housing characteristics; health status; prevalence of chronic diseases; knowledge of contraception and sexually-transmitted diseases; reproductive health; child and maternal mortality; child immunization; use of health services; and quality of life for older adults.
