Summary

The Garissa District Nutritional Anthropometric Survey utilized the Standardized Monitoring and Assessment in Relief and Transition (SMART) survey methodology to assess malnutrition prevalence in children ages 6-59 months. Data were collected on morbidity, anthropometry, immunizations, vitamin A supplements, deworming status, BSFP coverage, and food distribution and security. 731 children were assessed for this survey, but only 704 were included in the final analysis because of data problems in 27 records.
