Summary 

The purpose of the survey was to collect data for use in determining family planning programs and birth control assistance. 6,581 women between the ages of 15 to 49 from seven provinces in Kenya were interviewed; North Eastern province and parts of Rift Valley Province and Eastern Province were not included in the sample. Data on marriage rates, fertility, reproduction, and contraception were included in the survey.
