Covers population, education, health, nutrition, family planning and household characteristics. The sample was 5,844 households, 4,800 women age 15-49, and 1,440 men age 15-59. Anthropomorphic measurements were taken of participating women and their children who were born after January 1994. Men, women, and children were all given blood tests to detect anemia.
