Summary 

The 2011 Census in Jersey was conducted by the Statistics Unit, independently of the census throughout the rest of the United Kingdom. Enumerators delivered questionnaires to every household and occupied communal establishment on the island. The forms were self-completed by the household, and returned. Follow up with non-responding households by collection officers lasted for several months after the initial March 27th census day. The total population of Jersey was enumerated at 97,857.
