Summary 

Since 1989 the Survey of Household Income and Wealth (SHIW) has included a panel portion. For the 1992 survey new modules on intergenerational transfers of wealth, mobility in the labor market and job searching, and taxes were added to the questionnaire. Although the survey was conducted in 1992, the questions pertained to household activities and conditions in 1991.
