Summary 

The Israeli National Health Interview Survey (INHIS) was created as part of the WHO European Health Interview Survey (EUROHIS) project. EUROHIS began in 2000 with the goal of developing survey research tools to gather comparable health information from multiple countries. The first INHIS was carried out in 2003-2004. This is the second wave of the series, also known as INHIS-2. Data were collected by telephone interview. The survey contained four modules, each with a questionnaire, consisting of women’s health, mental health, preventative health behavior, and health service use. A total of 10,331 interviews were completed with individuals ages 21 and above.
