EUROHIS began in 2000 with the goal of developing survey research tools to gather comparable health information from multiple countries. The first INHIS was carried out in 2003-2004. This is the second wave of the series, also known as INHIS-2. Data were collected by telephone interview. The survey contained four modules, each with a questionnaire, consisting of women’s health, mental health, preventative health behavior, and health service use. A total of 10,331 interviews were completed with individuals ages 21 and above.
